Church Structure
The Castile United Church of Christ is a member of the Genesee Valley Association of the New York Conference of the United Church of Christ.
Locally, we are governed by the congregation and its representatives on the Church Council, which meets regularly every four months. The Council is composed of elected officers and representatives of each of the following boards and committees:
- Board of Elders – Spiritual Life & Visitation
- Board of Trustees – Finance, Property & Maintenance
- Board of Christian Education – Sunday Sunday & Vacation Bible School
- Board of Christian Missions – SERRV, Communion Fund & The Going Beyond Ourselves Missions Group
- Memorial Fund Committee – Receives and disburses Memorial Gifts
- Perpetual Fund Committee – Endowment
- Music Committee – Oversees all choirs and music programs within the Church
- Women’s Fellowship – Meets monthly for fellowship and a variety of activities. They are also involved in providing funeral luncheons and a variety of outreach programs to the community. All women are welcome!!
